Kirsten created the OBM Academy in 2020 to help OBMs learn how to attract industry leaders on their roster, like she did, by being a better OBM themselves. The OBM Academy takes on a very limited amount of OBMs due to both the intimacy of the training program and because Kirsten does not put her recommendation on just anyone. Bio:
My name is Dawn (she/her/hers), and I am an online business manager and operations strategist. I have 16+ years of operations, administrative, leadership, event planning, and project management experience, including three years as an online business manager (OBM). Before becoming an OBM, I worked in various roles in higher education.
Simplifying is one of my superpowers. Seeing the path forward is another one. I care deeply about creating equity and justice and work to ensure my business reflects those values, as well as curiosity, collaboration, and resourcefulness.
A few more things about me:
