My Story
2019
I was full-time in a healthcare job that was great on paper, but I was doing house cleaning and hair braiding on the side to make extra money and find fulfillment outside of work. It seemed like I had it all and yet I felt trapped. One day, I had a massive panic attack at work where I was hospitalized at my own job.
After taking 3 emergency PTO days, I decided I couldn’t keep working like this and needed to find a job that didn’t create constant injuries and stress. I had officially burned out.
2020
I fell into the world of “virtual assisting” and quickly scaled a Virtual Assisting and Online Business Management agency with no real business experience. I was still working in healthcare and struggling with depression.
But one day, a client asked me to write an email to her list so I did, and she made money…without showing her face, just with words. I was floored that this was possible. That’s when I decided I needed to build my business with email marketing as my #1 strategy.
I found email marketing and it worked a little too well, because by the end of that year, I had complicated services and 10 team members - half of them being employees - all while still side hustling. My payroll was huge, profit was low, I had clients that weren't happy even though we were working so hard and my peace was non-existent. The sales were the easy part because of email, but nothing else was.
2021
I decided that nothing was worth my peace. $50K-$60K months wasn't even worth it. I wanted more money and more peace.
That's when I decided to simplify my services into email and funnels only and focus on fixing my team, systems and mindset. I improved my profit, performance and peace from doing this.
2022
I launched my signature group program, Million Dollar Email and scaled it to over 100 students while working part-time in the first year using email marketing, team, systems and mindset work.
That's when I realized I needed a team, systems and mindset program as well.
2023
I hit my first $1M year with high profit, a lean team, and an email list below 1,000 subscribers using the 4 skills I teach my clients (email, team, systems and mindset.)

I taught other OBMs how to get more clients at the same time through my signature OBM Academy and I also began teaching my clients email marketing after realizing it was the simplest marketing strategy for a depressed side hustler.
