Hello Part Time Millionaires!! I am so excited for this episode because I have not talked about funnels in a minute and today is all about the funnels you need to have in place and how to get one making you money on evergreen, in between your launches.
For those that don’t know, I am a former Funnel Builder. My first business before coaching was building funnels for multiple 6 figure and million dollar coaches and I have seen it all.
That’s why I ended up creating my first group program, Finesse Your Funnel which really was Million Dollar Email in disguise because so much of it was about learning how to effectively use email and sell from email in order to have a proven funnel.
Present day, the only way I teach funnels is through Million Dollar Email. We have an entire module dedicated to creating a high converting Email Sales Funnel.
I have developed this strategy from years of building, observing and teaching funnels and it’s the best in the industry because it is focused on having a solid email funnel that you can confidently drive traffic to whether paid or organic, it’s focused on having an email only sales process which means it helps your clients convert just through email only, not through a whole application and DM sales process, and it’s so simple to manage, optimize and scale.
This is the most profitable funnel strategy in the industry. There’s no extensive team or systems required to have it running. So you won’t receive cash just to burn it.
We have solved the industry’s top problems when it comes to Sales Funnels inside Million Dollar Email. I am not just saying this because it’s my program, I have yet to see another sales funnel approach I can recommend outside of ours. That’s me speaking as a Funnels Expert.

My clients come to me with so many funnel myths in their head and walk away with a simple, scalable email only sales funnel that makes them thousands of dollars a month and hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

I am going to share what funnels you need in your business as a Coach and as a Service Provider, when to know if you’re ready for an Email Only Sales Funnel, and how to get ready for one as well as some examples from million dollar clients I have worked with.
Let’s get into it.
First of all what funnels do you need?
There are only 2 Funnels you need in your business. If you have more than 2, you have too many. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve walked into a business with 5 funnels for all these different offers and it’s a mess and they aren’t making any money.
I call them Snake Funnels.
A Snake Funnel is the kind of funnel that has multiple opt ins and connection points. Imagine your subscriber going in and out of funnels that make a snake shape.
It’s very common when we want to make things easier, to make things so much harder.
So I only recommend 2 Funnels.
Yes, that means archive all the freebies & stop having someone subscribe to your first freebie, then pitching another one, then opting them into a new funnel, then pitching your offer, etc.
It’s just not necessary and it’s not scalable.
The most common objection I get is, “But we put in all this work.”
& your work will not be in vain. We can still use everything, but somewhere else. Maybe in your next launch or in your weekly emails or in your funnel once it’s streamlined.
I want you to have a strategy that is simple & scalable.
I would not optimize a Snake Funnel, I recommend you untie it and create the 2 funnels I am going to share.

I have seen so many complicated, broke funnels.
I have had to help entrepreneurs untie fancy funnels that others built for them.
And there are a lot of funnels out there making pennies.
But your first funnel can add 6 figures to your bottom line, on autopilot with ease.
If you know how to write high converting emails, it will happen.
Okay so, if you want to make funnel money, you just need 2 funnels.
The first is a simple Welcome Funnel. This is also known as your Welcome Sequence. This is an automated series of emails your new subscribers get when they opt into your list. This is not the same as a sales funnel. The framework and goal is different. I always see people who try to blend their Welcome and Sales Funnels. But this funnel has a different goal, and that’s to prepare and engage new subscribers. I consider this funnel as a part of your email foundations.
Both Coaches and DFY Service Providers need this funnel. Inside MDE, we show you the exact framework of a Million Dollar Welcome Sequence and we help you either create one or refine your current one. You won’t have to worry about not wanting to send people to your email list because your welcome funnel isn’t set up or updated.
The goal of a Welcome Sequence isn’t to convert, it’s to engage new subscribers. But, we have so many clients that do convert both sales and sales calls from their Welcome Sequences with our unique framework.
The second one is a simple, Automated Email Sales Funnel.
Now, before I dive into this: Everyone has a Sales Funnel. But I am talking about an Automated Sales Funnel. An Automated Email Funnel.
I always have DFY Providers saying they need an automated funnel because they are so busy with client work and have no time to market themselves. And I’m like no, you need a better Content System. Your Content System needs to make it easy for you to drive people to your email list, have them go through your welcome funnel, and then receive consistent emails inviting them to join your offer. That’s all I did to build a multiple 6 figure agency and I never felt overwhelmed with marketing because I had a system for it.
And I have Coaches that will come to me with the same thing and selling 1:1 coaching. The same goes for you, you need a better Content System.
I have a Funnel Rule that I teach in the program and it’s that an Automated Email Funnel is only for Group Offers that sell straight from the checkout.
And if you have a Group Offer but haven’t converted at least 20 clients into your program in one email launch, then you are not ready yet.
The reason being is a high converting funnel needs proven messaging. And you have not proven your messaging at 5 or even 10 clients. I don’t care if those 5 or 10 clients said they loved your messaging.
If you want your funnel to convert right away, you need to automate the work that’s already working. And in my experience, once you’ve converted 20 clients in one launch, you’ve achieved at scale messaging, meaning it converts at volume. This is what you need for an automated funnel.
Again, I’ve seen it all.
People want an automated sales process where they make money in their sleep, but then a Coach will tell them to create a 10 step funnel that has manual aspects to it.
One of the most popular High Ticket Sales Funnels I’ve seen includes an opt in to a Webinar, and then a full application, and then a follow up process both via Emails and DMs, with a whole sales conversation and complicated system attached.
This process includes all the segments, team members, and manual work just to barely convert.
When clients come to me, they radically simplify their Sales Funnel process and make so much more, because a great Sales Funnel is just a great Email Automation.
You can replace sales calls, extensive lead tracking, DM selling and 50-11 step application funnels with Email alone.
Yes, you can sign high ticket in your actual sleep with just Emails.
But you need to automate what’s already working. If you do this, you will be able to convert with just Email.
From a tactical perspective, I teach a 3 Step Funnel :

That’s it. If your funnel is beyond that:
It’s probably because you want to nurture and build trust with your audience before pitching or you think people need that direct connection point or you think you need it in order to confidently enroll someone in the program.
But with the MDE Strategy, you’ll be able to do that without a Snake Funnel approach.
You’ll create great, high performing emails that don’t take forever to nurture a subscriber to buy. A simple, scalable funnel that is easy to optimize.
When I was consulting Dielle Charon on her launches and told her she was ready for an email only funnel, she was skeptical, she enjoyed having an application in her $5K program funnel. She sells to Side Hustlers and believed her client wouldn’t just buy from Email and she liked the “exclusive nature” of an application.
She has since went from applications and sales calls for that offer, to a Multiple 6 Figure Evergreen Funnel and her first $1M year with a simple Email Funnel. She enrolls PIF clients regularly and has no idea who they are, there was no conversation or follow up. She makes money on evergreen in between launches, and just drives people to it with organic content. No ad spend of anything.

Just by focusing on creating a high converting Email Funnel, her business has completely changed and in the simplest way possible.
