Hello Part Time Millionaires, welcome back to the Podcast! Today we are going to talk about the Out of Operations Plan and how I leverage this one document to help you experience the feeling of having a truly scalable million dollar business.
There really is no better feeling than having clean, simple systems that you actually feel you could delegate within a snap. Like one day with my systems now and a new team member could run the show, easily.
This is all a result of my Out of Operations Plan.
I have a private client I just ran through this plan and this is someone who has made a million in a year but does not yet have clean, simple systems that she can delegate and this is so common.
To give you some context, this client has a group program, 1:1 coaching and an evergreen course. She has an Assistant and 1 Co Coach. But she currently takes all the calls, still runs some customer service things, and does a lot of manual tasks.
All while trying to complete curriculum projects and personal development trainings.
So while she loves her Team, they are seriously underutilized despite paying thousands of dollars every month.
So because we were planning her Maternity Leave in the next 3 months, I decided to run her through my Million Dollar Team Process and I was truly shook as I was asking her the questions inside the Out of Operations Document.
Because I started to see every hole in her business and knowing exactly how to fix it.
The amount of data this one document will pull out of your business…it’s like a whole business reveal. You’re going to see the REAL state of your business with this and hey, it may not be too bad but either way, this document basically puts every corner of your business on paper for us to strategize and organize.
We audit every corner of your business in one document that you will then use to design a plan that will not only get you Out of Operations, but will set the Operational Standard moving forward.
Your Operational Standard is what you will do, when.
My client was asking questions like when will I launch this and when should I send emails for that and when do I optimize my funnel etc.
And your Operational Standard should answer all of those questions.
Imagine it as a Calendar of decisions you made ahead of time, that you and your Team can easily reference and execute on so you’re always moving in the right direction.
Like let’s say this client is on Maternity Leave and she’s like…I don’t know, I think I need 6 more weeks…
She should be able to take that time off and her Team will know exactly what to do next, because the Operational Standard is set. Like they say okay we have a launch in February, so let’s start building that out.
So we build that through this easy but thorough audit of your Business Model, Program Management, Delivery, Systems, Team, and Leadership.
And the very first thing you will do when you join is complete this document and then submit it for my review so I can give recommendations.
And you will know exactly what you need to do to run a smooth million dollar business that allows you the permission to step away.
This client really wants to put more effort into her marketing. But she’s carrying the entire business on her shoulders. So the goal of the Out of Operations Plan is to make it to where Marketing is her only job.
For you, it might be that you really want to launch a new offer or plan a huge event for your clients. The Out of Operations Plan would make it to where creating and selling that is all you have to do.
Something else that really struck me as we were talking was she said being a mother of multiple kids, even when she does delegate in her household she is the one that has to think and carry the load of remembering everything that needs to be done. She’s the coordinator.
And this goes for those without children too. It’s very common for women to carry the mental load and coordination of all the priorities. I was just talking to a friend the other day that was like, “my husband does one thing but I’ve already done like 10 things before he did that one thing” and so now she’s really focused on getting support in her life.
Which by the way I can do an entire episode on just hiring a housekeeper instead of splitting the chores with your partner but let me save that spice for another day!
